June Glossybox

So I'm finally getting back into doing my blog, I've wanted to start it again for ages but something always got in the way......however i'm now going to try to do at least 2 posts a week, but having children, things don't always go to plan ....so we will see.

However i thought i would start my blogging venture with posting this month Glossybox.

Glossybox Serie Exculusiv Pro Beauty Brush: I think I was rather excited when i saw a beauty brush in this month's box, although this excitement was short lived, after reading in the card that the R.R.P was £15.00 i cant lie in saying i was little shocked, as the goat hair was very rough and had frayed away from it, aswell as this it was very scratchy on the skin and had a cheap brush smell to it (i cant describe a cheap brush smell by the way) you will have to trust me on that. However not a brush i will be using, so quite disappointing.

Yves Rocher Mini Ultra-Volume Sexy Pulp Mascara: I',m always happy when i see a mascara in my box, i love love love trying new mascara's so this way right up my street, however i wish i was a full size , as i am in love with this one. Im not sure if its the size of brush (as its massive) or not but it seems to pick up every lash, aswell as making them very dramatic looking which i love. Im so excited to buy the full size, the price i think is a little high at £16.90 but i think its well worth it.

BM Beauty Summer Warmth Bronzer: i have used a few of the BM beauty products in the past, one being there mineral eye shadows, however i wasn't that impressed they seemed to just fall off my eyes and crease, with or without a primer, so i didn't have high hopes for another BM product, however my tables have turned and i seem to like this one. even though its called a bronzer it is muti- purpose witch is always a bonus in my book. its applies very well, I've been using it with a small blush brush or small kabuki, it has a amazing colour and just gives you a lovely summer glow, which we all need with the British weather right now :) .

Clean Start Day/Night 3 Step Kit By Dermalogica: This was the product i was the most excited to try, again i had already used one or two products by Dermalogica, and this little kit really caught my eye. Its a 3 step kit witch consists of a cleanser , spray toner and a moisturizer, as it stands I've only used the spray toner which i loved, great for refreshing your face when hot. however i'm really excited to try the rest of the products (full size for the kit is £12.00) .

Vichy Ulta-Corrective Foundation Cream Stick: i think this product was the one i was least excited to try, as its just really a concealer so it didn't do much for me. however instead of being sent only one shade we were sent 6, varying  from light to dark , i have tryed the lightest one , as its the best for my completion and they are good little cream sticks, they blended in very well and i was surprised how good they were. however at nearly "20 for a concealer i don't think i will be buying the fullsize.

Overall i did enjoy June's Glossybox, i think there is always going to be something you dont like or enjoy.

What different products did you receive in your box ?????????

KMS Moist Repair Revival Cream

So I thought it was about time i reviewed a hair care product, I actually have a couple i want and need to review in the next couple of weeks , so you will be seeing a few more off these hair reviews...

So lets get down to business, i came across this great product  at my local hair salon. (price £14.95) after they had a change of shampoo's etc. i was looking for some kind of repair lotion, cream or conditioner, to sort out my hair. After having my second child my hair became very oily and dry (due to hormones) so i defiantly on the lookout for some wounder potion to sort all my problems out.

And this little wonder did just that, after all it does say a revival cream ....... So how does it work .....well it can be used on both dry and wet (towelled dryed hair), i personally like to use it on wet hair. After this its best to comb it through so its gets into hair, then i leave it about 5 minutes to absorbe in before i blow dry. But its not till you have finished blowdrying that you start to feel and see the difference that this product gives to your hair. like it says on the tin, it most centanly does wonders  your lock!!!! they feel soft , smooth and very shiny(not in a oily manor either) in a lovely way. Alot of people have even asked me what i have been using to get this look. the only fault i would place aganist it would be the price, I think that £14.95 is a little expensive, however you do only need about a pea size, so I think it is all swings and roundabouts. However I do think its devinatly one for your dresing table!!!!

What great hair products are you using ????

Soap And Glory Hand Food

So after a short break from bloggng Ive decided to get it going again,  ("Ive missed you blog" :( ), so i thought why not crack it all off with a lovely little review of one of my favourite products of last couple of months.....so you will all be asking yourself what is this amazing product I'm talking about !!! well it is ( drum roll please!!!!) Soap And Glory Hand Food !! which can be found at Boots.

I'm always on the look out for a great hand cream as i think i have the dryest hands in the world, doesn't matter what time of year or season it is, they are always dry and cracked :( (i must have very unhappy hands :( ), so because of this i buy about 10 hands creams a months and none really amaze me to go buy again, however i had seen alot of good reviews of this product, aswell as it popping up in some favourites of the month videos. so i had to buy it, ...................... And I'm sooo happy that i did, it is amazing and i think I'm in love with it to be honest lol, Ive never hand a hand cream that makes my hands feel so happy  , nice and soft  and so overall lovely :). as for the brand Soap And Glory i hadn't really used or very familiar with there products, i had brought i few products in the past but never fell in love with them really so i stopped buying soap and glory, well that was a big mistake !!

Soft you guys out there are the same as me , with unhappy hands, defiantly go try this product i don't think you will be disappointed !!!

What hands creams are you using  ???? xx

Liz Earle Cleanse and Polish ....

After giving birth to my second child, my skin took the full force of the old hormones, it went from dry to oily pretty much over night, so i was once again on the hunt for a good cleanser. And after reading blog's and watching Youtube, i finally came over one that seemed to fit exactly what i was looking for. so you may ask yourself what I'm on about, well drum roll please !!!!.......... its all about Liz Earle Cleanse and Polish, it is what my skin has been looking for, for the whole of 5 months now and I'm so glad i found it.

So how does it work?......well morning and night i apply a small amount to my face, i continue rubbing it into my skin, then leave it for about a minute or so, after i apply warm water to the muslin cloth which comes with the cleanser and wipe it all over my face taking of all the excess makeup with it. depending on weather i have been out in the evening then i may do it before bed aswell, however i am quite naughty at leaving my makeup on when i go to bed !! however it leaves my face feeling very refreshed, clean and alive.

Aswell as this i also use Liz Earle Instant Skin Boost Toner just to take of anything i may have missed, this i find helps to remove my mascara, especially if I'm wearing waterproof.

So if guys out there are looking for a product that is suited to all skin types i would recommend Liz Earle !!! So give it a go

What Cleanser's Etc ... to you use??? Please comment below and share with me or recommend what you use

January Favourites!!!!

So its that time again to recap my favourite products of last month (January). this month its all about the makeup and nails (apart from one shower gel and dry shampoo) lol, however this is only a small collection off favourites normally there are loads, however Christmas was just round the last corner   and having to little girls there wasn't much they didn't want so January was defiantly i poor month for new makeup and beauty items ...boo :(. However all was not lost as i still managed to russel up a few new items for this months favourites... so Im going to crack on and tell you alllll about them !!!. So sit back and enjoy!!!!

so my first favourite is my Sanctuary Spa Mela Rose and Pistachio Body Butter, ive not all been one for moisturising  my body to often however after having my second daughter I decided I would start after pregnancy did awful things to my skin and Im so happy i brought this one, it was actually my mum who introduced this to me after she had a friend who worked at the Covent garden spa. after trying a sample i fell in love with it.to start it smells amazing and leaves your skin smelling amazing to, but second it leaves your body feeling wrapped in silk it is that smooth, i normally smooth it on after a shower or bath. And leaves my skin feeling soft and smooth forever... so this defiantly had to find itself in my favourites.

Item number 2 is my Avon Nailwear Pro in the colour Loving Lavender.....you guys may know from my Youtube Videos (youtube.com/kacori100), that Im all about purple, i think the colour rules my house and life at the moment, however this is more of a lilac. i.e. being lavender lol.

I think sometimes Avon products can be a bit under rated however the items i have tried have always been of a really good quality plus really great items, so there was no surprise that i loved this one. overall its a great nail polish, coats on very smooth not a gloopy mixture, plus drys very quickly. The only floor it has is because its a light colour you do find urslef having to apply alot of coats ( i think i applied 4 when I used it) so not for people who want a quick paint and go !!!.

Item Number 3..... are my Eyeko Skinny Eyeliner (Plum) and my Fat Eye Stick (Chocolate). these products were from this months Glossybox and Carmine Beauty Box. I had never heard of the brand Eyeko until now, but i think it must have been a hidden secret , as Im loving these products they are sosmooth to apply, they don't pull on Ur eye especially your waterline, where i love to apply eyeliner. over all they are great products. i have found that the Fat Eye Stick is great for a base to a brown shadow, stays crease free alday, or just as a eyeliner, again on the waterline really makes you look very awake. so i would defiantly recommend these items if your looking for a great eyeliner. there only downfall is that the skinny eyeliner is £9.50 at full size, so can be a little expensive but i think definalty worth the money!!!

item number 4, is my Lush Happy Hippy Shower Gel...... At the moment i am loving anything Lush, and seeing some good reviews on this item, I knew i had to go try it out, and I'm so happy that I did,it has the most amazing smell of Grapefruit's that defiantly wakes you up in the morning, ive been using this for bout 3 weeks now, and I don't think I will be putting it to one side, im sure ill be stocking up on this more often. i would be sure to recommend it to others :D

Item Number 5.... is my Lush (again) Snow Fairy Lip Tint, Again an amazing product, I have loved Snow Fairy in shower gel form so I thought id try out there lip tints and I love this one its more like a lipstick than a lip tint, again its a very moisturising and creamy lip product and the colour does stay on a while without having to reapply, aswell as having an amazing taste of sweets, and i think abit of rose but i think this is only my opinion lol. however I product I would again recommend if your looking for a good dupe for a lipstick.

Item Number 6.... is my Batiste Big and Bouncy XXL Volume Dry Shampoo, ive only really started to use dry shampoo's for the last couple of months, so Im a little behind with the trend  lol, but I'm grown to love them ever since try the Batiste Tropical (coconut). witch was amazing in my hair smell amazing whist leaving it looking fresh and clean, however i cam over I couple of Youtube videos, reviewing the XXL volume, saying it really did do what it said on the tin, so I thought id go see what  was missing, lucky Superdrug were doing half price offers on all there dry shampoo's so i snatched it up, well i'm very impressed with this item, it really does do what it says on the tin. I usually use dry shampoo on day 1or 2 after washing my hair, i part sections of hair then spray it  in, normally leave it for a couple of mins and plump r hair up and the volume it gives is amazing, so I'm very happy that I listened to other Youtubers when decided to buy this item......defiantly go out there and buy
it !!!

and Finally Item Number 7..... Is my BarryM Lipstick in number 113 (baby pink colour), this is my first BarryM lipstick, I had heard they were very good, in how they  left your lips very soft and moisturised, which indeed they do, I think Ive worn this lipstick everyday for the last week, i'm in love with it that much lol, its an amazing product, I'm defiantly going to be trying the other colours in there collection, plus ill be doing a video on Youtube of my favourite lipsticks soon (its in the making) so watch this space for more BarryM reviews, however defiantly go out and try these lipsticks as I'm sure you wont be disappointed!!!!

I hope you have Enjoyed my run down of my January's favourites!! keep following for more posts.!!

Valentine's GlossyBox

So this months glossybox has arrived.. which means Im a very happy girl, if you guys are not up to date with beauty boxes...then ill give you the run down.

Beauty boxes i.e. Glossybox is £10 plus P+P (£2.95 i think) it is a monthly subscription which you can leave at anytime, you are not signed to any contract which is one of the reasons i joined. i liked the idea that i can leave when i like, if the products are not what Im looking for......i think Glossybox is a great idea for people (id say mostly young people) that are not sure what kind of products they are looking for. and have the option of trying new products they may not of heard of before...i know that i have found some little gems that i wouldn't have found on the high street, so its a great way of finding these great items

Visit there website if you interested in subscribing www.GlossyBox.co.uk

So like i said this months box has arrived, and with this months theme being valentines GlossyBox have put together 5 products to pamper and preen yourself. And i was so excited to open the box and find that this months was there valentines special box in a gorgeous bright pink box:

So to the products inside ....after all this is the most important part of the box.....i was pretty excited when i first untied the ribbon and lifted back the tissue paper however there were some ups and downs to the products i received, i know that people get all different types of products in there box, as there not all the same.
so ill give the run down of the items:

  • Eyeko Skinny Eyeliner - Plum- i was really excited to see this Im a bit of a sucker for a new eyeliner, so when i saw it in one of my favorite colours   i was very excited at trying it, it has a very creamy texture with it being very smooth to apply, it blends very well to give a smoky eye look as well as looking great on the waterline.
  • Orly Nail Lacquer- Ruby, although Im not a massive fan of bright red nail vanish i did try this and i actually liked it its quite a dark red more than i bright red, it applies really nice i only needed one coat unlike my usual 2, so looking forward to buying more colours of this.

  •  Weleda One Step Cleanser & Toner - Im a great fan of weleda products had a few before i find them great on my skin and leave it feeling great, and i wasn't disappointed when it came to this product was really good at taking of makeup and left my skin feeling really refreshed , I used it before i went to bed and my skin was still very soft n felt very clean and refreshed the following morning, so i was very impressed with this item Im defiantly going to be buying some more of this ....
  • FAB ( First Aid Beauty) Gentle Body Wash- i wasn't too sure with this item when i first saw it, Im not very familiar with FAB so was looking forward to using it, however it wasn't really what i expected, even though it said it was a body was. it seamed more like a moisturizer than a body wash. it did leave my skin feeling very clean and soft but i don't think i would be repurchasing the product as it wasn't a favorite.
  • Murad Hybirds Skin Perfecting Primer -Dewy finish - i was really looking forward to using this when i first saw it in the box, as Im not usually a regular face primer kinda girl, i do use my too faced shadow insurance for my eyes but have never had a face primer, however using the primer on my face before applying my foundation i found the colour was to dark for my skin i gave me almost a orange face. i just wish it was in a slightly lighter shade then it would have been great, it did leave me with a nice dewy finish but not a kind of item i would use again.

Aswell as the 5 products glossybox gave us a little treat this month with a lovely little glossybox sweetie:

I Loved this little touch, was a lovely little treat i think it is actually a little to nice to eat...that probably sounds a little sad lol
So HAPPY VALENTINE'S to everyone !!!
